Tekle provides face-to-face export/import management training to businesses and entrepreneurs at the Bay Area World Trade Center in California. As a consultant he has helped his clients define objectives assess importing/exporting operations and profit growth opportunities, devised plans based on findings of analytical studies. He has cultivated relationships with buyers and negotiated import/export agreements. For his clients he has conducted extensive market research to determine viability of new business venture.
He has also offered executive leadership and successfully navigated international business challenges. He provided expertise and consultative services focused on sales and marketing strategies to elevate revenues for global businesses.
In addition to his consulting business, he provides practical trade insights and timely expert advice using articles and live sessions in crucial import/export issues for Alibaba.com’s Resources Channel. His previous international business and marketing experiences include consulting for BAYTRADE, an export promotion organization, and for the Small Business Development Center/Center for International Trade and Development.
